The gathering of the youth justice are presenting: "Gathering of the youth, a 3-day, movement building youth conference focused on dismantling the school-to-prison pipeline through Juvenile Justice Reform, Gun violence prevention, Gender Equity, and Transformative politics.
Senator Cory Booker and representative Steven Horsford invite you to attend a panel discussion of community based gun violence prevention. The panel of experts will include; Pastor Mike McBride, Catherine Phillips, Erica Ford, Anthony Smith, and Jeff Brown.
Let’s spread the word we are trying to get $900 million of federal tax support her being gone violence prevention public health. Last month it was the house Judiciary Hearing. This month is the Senate/house briefing.
The Democratic presidential candidates who were on the September debate stage will be here: including Joe Biden, Cory Booker, Pete Buttigieg, Julian Castro, Kamala Harris, Amy Klobuchar, Beto O’Rourke, Elizabeth Warren and Andrew Yang.
Each candidate gets 30 minutes to talk about guns, violence and safety.
The forum is sponsored by two groups that fight gun violence. Giffords is inspired by former Congresswoman Gabby Giffords, also a shooting victim. The second group is March For Our Lives, the student-powered group that rose up after the Florida shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School.
